SOMEWHERE ELSE CDO

During my visit to Cagayan de Oro City last December, i was lucky enough to be able to experience the night life in the city. I'm not really familiar of the night life scene in the city but i really wanted to experience how Kagay-anons party and chill.

I came across this bar only through social media and i think to myself that whenever i visit the city, i would really visit the place, and finally i did!

Somewhere Else is CDO's hole in the wall which offers an extensive collection of local & imported beers & liquor, complemented with the right comfort food and good music.

Somewhere Else is the newest pub/bar in the city which can turn from a lounge haven to an upbeat locale. It's perfect for the yuppies, for the hip crowd, and it can even bring the hermits out of their usual boxes. The place offers two sections: the ground floor being the more relaxed area, and the second floor which tends to be more buoyant & can even hold parties with guest DJS from time to time. Whether you're with friends or you prefer to unwind by yourself, you'll definitely find a place somewhere else.

I love the chill ambiance of the place, the rustic look of the area really gives it a classy vibe especially the display of various liquors and spirits around the place. The place really looks expensive and exclusive. hehe

The walls inside is filled with doodles and typography that makes the place funky and very creative.

If ever you ordered too much and not able to finish the bottle, you may leave it inside and rest assured that it can be properly stored - and you can drink it on your next visit. hehe

It's my first time to try a craft beer that is locally made - here i tried the Fat Pauly's Diwata Craft Beer.

and of course one of my favorite drink, Absinthe! hehe

can't wait to be back in Cagayan de Oro and visit Somewhere Else again. It really made my trip worthwhile. It is definitely something I look forward to experience again.
