Galaga Fever at the Garage

The Garage VR Zone + Food Park is one of the great attractions in City of Dreams Manila. A first-of-its-kind virtual gaming experience in the Philippines featuring VR games by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. It is a Great place to do, corporate events private parties, and much more.

Since their launch last year, they only had 3 VR games that the guests and visitors can enjoy; namely MarioKart VR, SkiRodeo, and HositalEscapeTerror. It has been a successful journey so far since a lot of people have been interested in trying our virtual reality games lately.

Just few days ago, together with some of our media friends, The Garage VR Zone + Food Park in City of Dreams Manila in partnership with Banzai Namco presented its newest VR game: The GALAGA. I'm really excited for this game because it reminds me so much of my childhood. I used to play this game on a family computer; and now finally I got to experience it as if I am inside the game.

For those who are not yet familiar with the game, Galaga is a famous arcade shooting game back in the 80's and the early 90's. It is very popular that most kids are frequently playing this game. The objective in the game is for you to kill as much insect-like enemy who flies down to attack you with bombs -- with you controlling the spaceship. Once you destroy all the insects you will proceed to the next level.

Finally, now that it's already in a VR mode, we get to experience this game as if we're the in-game characters that kills all the flying insects and kills the boss. It was truly a fun and cool experience -- perfect for those kids and those who are kids-at-heart who loves an action-filled shooting game.

Aside from the awesome VR Experiences,The Garage is also a perfect place to hangout with friends and family for they offer a wide variety of food options that you can enjoy namely: The Roaster, Juiced, Pizza Grigliata, Katsu Sora, Farmacy, Hokkaido Ramen Santuoka, Chocol8, Pink's, Little Flour, El Chupacabra, and The Chip Shoppe. The Garage can really accommodate any cravings you'll have.
