Fujifilm "Instax & Crafts"- Davao

Fujifilm "Instax & Crafts" takes its biggest DIY crafting event to Davao. After a highly successful "Instax & Crafts" event held at Market Market! in Bonifacio Global City last April 9, 2016 - FUJIFILM Philippines, Inc. brought its biggest and coolest DIY crafting event to Cebu. Held last May 21, 2014 at the Abreeza Ayala Mall, guests and Instax enthusiasts enjoyed an afternoon of creativity and fun. It was opened to public to let anyone join the celebration. It was truly an interesting afternoon.

"Instax & Crafts" offered special workshops on Photography Tips and Tricks from premiere Davao photographer Ms. Jojie Alcantara and Instax Pop-up Banners from Ms. April San Pedro.

This is actually my first time to attend and be a part of this awesome event! Im really excited to release all my creative juices and make something great in this DIY event. 

At first, Ms. Jojie Alcantara explained and discuss on how she started being part of the Fujifilm family and then she gave us tricks and tips on how to make our instax photos better and remarkable. She also taught us on how to make a double exposure photo using the Instax Mini 90 - which we can use to make our pop-up banners, Awesome right?

In the event, the organizers provided a lot of Instax printers where we can print some of our favorite photos from our smartphones. The photos were the ones we use for our banners.

We were provided with the materials needed to make the Pop-up banner with the assistance and help of Ms. April San Pedro. Everything we needed are already on our table such as the banner template, strings and printed papers. There were colored pens, stickers and stamps that can make our Instax Pop-up banner more colorful and creative.

Participants had a chance to join the raffle and win amazing prizes from Instax. The make of each workshop's most creative entry  won a Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S Summer Package. Other raffle prizes include a gift voucher from Guess Jeans, as well as a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Summer Package and a WIDE 300 Summer Package.

To add a musical flare to the event, the Visayan singer Jewel Villaflores serenaded the crowd. 

"There is a certain kind of joy looking at one's photos - more so, It it's something you cna hold on to like a printed photograph. We realized that millennials not only enjoy seeing their favorite memories on instax prints, they also enjoy displaying them and sharing them with friends and loved ones. Through "Instax and Crafts", we hope that they can see that there are many ways on how they can display and preserve these memories," shares FUJIFILM Division Head for Electronic and Photo imaging - Mr. Takuya Maeda.
