19th International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

02.15.2015 | Clark Air Base, Pampanga

Today is the last day of the 19th International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Clark, Pampanga. We were supposed to leave Sta Rosa, Laguna at 4:30 in the morning, unfortunately everyone woke up late and been able to leave at 6:30 in the morning. So we arrived in Pampanga at around 9:30am, the first schedule of flying the balloons is over. We got there witnessing the flying exhibition of the planes, and para-gliding.

Here are some photos of my first Hot Air Balloon Festival Experience.

mini airplanes that were used for the flying exhibition.
Around 5:30 in the afternoon, some balloons were blown to prepare for the night glow. Hot Air Balloons in different sizes were starting to fill the skies of Clark. Unfortunately only few balloons were fully blown dues to unexpected circumstances and it's going to be risky for the participants and their balloons.
There is also a live band performances brought by Radyo Repablik. Among the performers were Julie Anne, Paolo Valenciano, Ang Bandang Shirley, and The Ransom Collective.
Since the highlight of the night is the flying of the Hot Air Balloons and the Night Glow is cancelled, we then decided to go home instead. But still I enjoyed my day and i can say it's still worth it.

here's a short clip i made.
