Filipino Comfort Food

Opened few weeks ago, Filipino Comfort Food (FCF) Restaurant has already made a mark in the food and restaurant industry in the metro. With no formal marketing and press release that has done, FCF managed to attract people to dine in and try their food through word of mouth and just simply posting photos on facebook.

Owned by Ms. Cathy Binag, this is their second restaurant opened here in the city after White House Fusion Cuisine and Wine Lounge. She was inspired to put up a Filipino restaurant in order to share her passion in cooking and to help preserve the Filipino dishes that has been neglected as the time passed by or some dishes has been infused into different style of cooking that lose its authenticity, as how it used to be cooked before. It is her own way of re-introducing the Filipino Culture to people.

Everything on the menu of FCF are the family's own recipes and twists on the usual well-loved Filipino dishes.

It's my first time to visit the  Filipino Comfort Food Restaurant. I love the interior and the design of the restaurant, really. It's like you're on a fiesta or a big gathering in your hometown with a modern twist. I also love the touch of vintage and culturally relevant pieces inside the restaurant.

The tables and chairs gave the restaurant the modern feels. What a great way of mixing classic and modern pieces.

The homey feels of the place really gives out the Filipino vibes.

The food was really good as well. I am not disappointed at all. Somehow all my expectations were met. At a very reasonable price, the serving was good enough to share with friends and with family.

Here are the food that we ordered during our visit. They really have a big size serving that's good for 3 to 4 persons. They do not mind that much the quantity of the serving but the most important thing that matters is the quality. So they really make sure that in every serving you will acknowledge the taste of the food as well as the hardwork and passion that they have in making every dish.
Here are some of their bestsellers that we have tried.
