Photo Diary: FOOD-TOGRAPHY TOUR

Last June 18, 2015, i joined the SM Lanang Premiere's Food-tography Tour with Jojie Alcantara. It is a workshop fro food-blogger wannabe's, foodies and instagrammers. It is a workshop that will help us learn more about food photography and know more tricks and tips on how to make our shots better. 

For this food tour, we went to 6 selected SM Lanang Premiere restaurants. In every restaurant, we were served with their best-sellers and most delicious food in the menu. It was really a great experience especially when you get to enjoy it with fellow food and photography enthusiasts.

here are some of the photos is took during the tour.

1. Bulgogi Brothers

For our first stop, we were served with different appetizers; 3 of their best-selling dishes.

2. Cellar de Boca

On our next stop, we were served with Sangria, All-Meat and Seafood Paella and a Gazpacho.

3. Banana Leaf

On the third restaurant, we were served with Chicken wrapped in pandan leaves and the roti canai which is an indian/malaysian inspired food (i guess haha) for it is like a pita bread paired with curry sauce.

4. Vikings

In our visit, it is quite a special treat for us because for our meal is not part of the existing menu. It is a dish that the Executive Chef Anton Abad and his team prepared for us; It actually has no name yet. haha

This dish is really really delicious, i must say. The combination of flavors is quite exceptional. I can't wait to taste this dish again, once it will be part of the Vikings menu.

5. Giardino Gelato

Of course! a great meal must be finished with a delicious dessert; and no better dessert that will really make this course cooler than a scoop of gelato!

6. Blugre

Unfortunately i wasn't able to go with them at the last stop for this food-tography tour since i still have errands to do that time. But i really enjoyed the experience i had, restaurant-hopping and trying their best sellers at the same time taking photos and sharing it with others thru social media.

I want to thank SM LANANG PREMIERE for this awesome opportunity to join the Food-tography Tour with Ms JOJIE ALCANTARA, and to experience the food of every restaurant we've been to. I also would like to thank FUJIFILM Philippines for providing and letting us use their Fujifilm X-A2 Cameras in shooting the food, and the Instax Share to print our photos.

Im looking forward to join more workshops and photography tours soon.
